Finding Brown Kelp in Brighter Shores is a chore that might sneak up on you when you’re looking to brew certain potions. It can be a bit tricky to figure out where they’re hidden, as these plants appear quite small.

The good news is that they’re not too difficult to find and have designated spawn locations where they appear in bulk. So, you won’t have much shortage of this ingredient once you know where to look.

Brown Kelp is quite useful if you wish to brew health potions. For example, crafting basic alchemical potions like the 10% Healing Potion and the 20% Healing Potion both require Brown Kelp. These potions come in handy during intense battles. If you want to earn some gold from your foraging, you can also sell these potions for 450 and 640 copper coins at the Apothecary Shop.

Even if you’re a Level 0 Forager, it won’t affect your Brown Kelp hunting skills. All you have to do is head to two locations in the game. First, visit the East Beach. There will be plenty of Brown Kelp here, appearing as big brown sacks or piles on the ground. If you’re playing on a crowded server, players will likely be surrounding them.

Apart from East Beach, you can also visit Jellyfish Landing, just a short hike west from the beach. Once you reach these locations, click on the big brown piles and select the Forage option. If you can’t find them, try using the Sense Spell to highlight nearby kelp.

When you finish foraging both areas, you can return to whichever location you went to first, as new kelp piles will have respawned after 60 seconds.

This is how you find Brown Kelp in Brighter Shores and take advantage of the game’s respawn system to farm the ingredient.
