These are the best settings for playing Where Winds Meet at 4K resolution on GPUs with up to 16GB of VRAM.
Where Winds Meet looks spectacular in 4K. However, to play at 4K, you require serious horsepower to play this game at this resolution. We recommend GPU tiers around the RTX 4080 Super on Nvidia’s side and the RX 7900 XTX or RX 9070 XT on AMD’s side to hit reasonable frame rates at 4K.
If you want to play this game without RT, then the GPU tiers we mentioned should be no problem at all. However, if you are going for RT and want maximum fidelity, then you need 90-class cards from Nvidia. That said, we have adjusted quite a few parameters so that you can turn on RT with any of the given GPU tiers and still enjoy the game.
Note: At 4K, the game’s CPU-bound nature is no longer a problem. Instead, it is more GPU-bound. The game’s performance issues will likely be ironed out, but for now, use these settings as a starting point and adjust as needed.

Where Winds Meet – Best Settings To Play at 4K
Regardless of your GPU, whether it is an Nvidia or an AMD option, there will be a lot of shimmering within the image. For now, on Nvidia, you can use DLAA to clean this up. However, on AMD, using FSR will only make things worse.
Use the built-in TAA for now. The game does not support FSR 4, so AMD users, particularly with RDNA 4 cards, will not be able to enjoy Nvidia-level image quality.
