Lone Cloud sect in Where Winds Meet is one of the many sects that you can join in-game. Like all other sects, this one has a set of rules, joining requirements, and preferences for martial arts or weapons. You can find out more about the different sects by accessing the game menu. From there, simply select the Sect option. If you don’t see a Sect option yet, you’ll have to progress a bit further before the option unlocks. Regardless, here’s what you should know about the Lone Cloud sect.

If you open up the Sect menu in-game, you’ll see the entry clue for the Lone Cloud. It simply states, ‘Lonely Cloud Disciples are obsessed with calculations. Refuse to recruit new disciples. May apply to join the Sect when fate permits.’ Now, that’s as vague as clues go. However, if you don’t know what that means, it simply says that you will need to clear a Math or Logic Test before you can pledge your allegiance to this particular sect. This isn’t the only sect with a weird requirement to join. The Floral Reverie sect, for instance, requires you to marry, get divorced, and remarry all within the span of a week.

The Logic test makes sense for the Lone Cloud sect, though, since it’s a group comprised of scholars and intellectuals. Also, if you’re thinking of joining, you should know that you can’t just cheat off other players on the test. The game assigns you a random test from a wide variety of options. So, the likelihood that another player will get the same questions is slim.

How To Increase Your Reputation in the Lone Cloud Sect in Where Winds Meet

If you are a lone wolf who prefers to stick to Blade Mastery, this is the perfect sect for you to join. Also, the sect is all about logic, so any decisions that you base on emotions are frowned upon. Besides that, you will need to take up Commands and complete those from the sect. Doing so will grant you an increase in Reputation with the Lone Cloud sect. After you earn sufficient reputation, you’ll level up your rank within the sect. However, keep in mind that you can only acquire up to 1200 reputation per week. If you keep performing Commands for the sect after reaching this upper limit in a given week, you won’t gain any more reputation.
