Unlocking the Soulshade Umbrella in Where Winds Meet
These are all the ways you can obtain the Soulshade Umbrella in Where Winds Meet:
- Pledge allegiance to the Hollow Vale Sect
- Steal the umbrella directly from the Master in Soulshade Umbrella – Post Station
The first method may sound simple on paper, such as joining a sect, but there are also other requirements. Similar to how you acquire the Thundercry Blade, there is an option to join another sect called the Well of Heaven. From there, you must complete the requirements before receiving the item.
On the other hand, the second method is much more time-consuming, but it is worth it. You will need to equip different Mystic Arts to speed up the process. The Post Station can be spotted in the east of the Kaifeng Region, and it is swarming with guards. Enter the station in complete stealth by assassinating the guards and opening the necessary chests. In the end, you must perform a Skill Steal to take the Soul Shade Umbrella Martial Art.
Soulshade Umbrella Playstyle
This umbrella can be used as a support item, as it heals allies while firing projectiles at enemies. It is the best of both worlds, but this item leans more towards the support playstyle. The Soulshade Umbrella is also under the Whirlsnow Set and Ivorybloom Set, which will grant your character more passive bonuses.
