Where Winds Meet allows you to freely express yourself in countless ways, and the Well of Heaven sect is one such way to do so in the game. Sects are factions you can join in the game, and each faction comes with its own perks, rules, regulations, and Martial Arts.

How To Join Well of Heaven Sect in Where Winds Meet

You can join the Well of Heaven sect  in Where Winds Meet by following the steps below: 

  • Talk to San Qian in Harvestfall Village. He hints that he has information about the Well of Heaven, but will only share if you pay him.
  • Pay 200 Zhou Coin, and he’ll direct you towards the Well of Heaven Elder sitting under an Elm Tree near the village. Take the road heading south of the village to find this elder.
  • Talk to the Well of Heaven Elder, and he, too, will refuse to speak unless you pay up. 
  • Pay up the minuscule amount, and the Elder will test you by asking you to steal from another man.
  • Since the Well of Heaven is all about Heroic Righteousness, do not do so. Instead, talk to the second man, and he’ll confront you about the evil deed. He’ll then ask you to acquire ill-gotten wealth. This man is totally against stealing and wants you to retrieve stolen goods. The first Elder was all for stealing. Given that the Well of Heaven is all about Heroic Righteousness, the second man is the true Eldern
  • Follow the true Elder’s instructions and find Ill-gotten wealth by using Windy Sense at the nearby black market. You’ll then be inducted into the Well of Heaven sect.

Well of Heaven Sect Rules and Martial Arts in Where Winds Meet

Thundercry Blade is the associated Martial Art for the Well of Heaven sect. The sect also comes with the following rules: 

  • Heroic Righteousness – Weekly Chivalrous Deeds require enough Adventure Slips as proof of valor!
  • Unrestrained Spirit – Sect may deduct 1,000 Precept Value.
  • Generous and Righteous – Weekly earnings should not be excessive, otherwise precept value -100.
  • Brotherhood – Disciples of the same sect must not harm one another

How To Increase Your Reputation in Well of Heaven in Where Winds Meet

You can increase your reputation within the Well of Heaven sect by completing Commands. These are special quests that grant you reputation points, which then help you work your way up within the Well of Heaven sect. You can earn up to 1200 reputation points per week. 

Taking your time to complete the Commands and raising reputation is well worth the effort. As you go about completing these and raising your reputation, you unlock more items in the Sect shop. You can then access the Sect shop from the menu. You’ll find this shop under the Mode section of the menu.
