Michael Peters, better known as Heelmike, is an American streamer known for his variety streams which also turn out to be unpredictable at times. He has a mix of content that includes gaming, live interactions, and reality show elements. Born on September 12, 1990, the 34-year-old has garnered a loyal fanbase since he started streaming.

Initially, Heelmile began his streaming career with just Fortnite. Later he broadened the scope and moved to variety streaming, and his channel started accumulating followers. He incorporated daring shows, challenges, and interactive blogs which carved a special place for his livestreams. Currently, his Twitch channel boasts 7.4 million followers while his Kick channel has somewhere around 97K followers.

Though Heelmike was able to mark his success, he has also faced some controversies that led to him being banned on Twitch. He has faced a Twitch ban multiple times, post which he decided to switch to the streaming platform Kick. In 2023, he announced his move but soon was seen getting banned on Kick too.

Controversy Involving Heelmike

In June 2024, Heelmike was banned from Kick while streaming with Jon Zherka. It was alleged that the duo engaged with minor girls during the stream. Later, they said that they were framed and were innocent. Heelmike took to X in order to explain to his audience the scenario and said that a ‘trusted worker’ of his was behind the blow-up.

However, the parents of the girl who was in he stream confirmed that she was just 17 years old. After the suspension, both the streamers addressed the issue on X. Heelmike said,

“Last night we got set up by a trusted worker of mine, this is me kicking out the girls. (Secret recording) She wanted fame so bad that she tried taking us down for it. They are both snakes, Nasty and evil women. Told you we are innocent you st*pid f*cks.”

On the other hand, Zherka also posted a long tweet n X, explaining his audience that they were tricked by their workers. His post read,

“I did nothing wrong. Followed every professional step by ID checking with multiple people and making sure that it was real by asking Abby before going on with the with IRL stream. A trusted worker of ours (Abby) clearly sniped us for clout on our off day and lied nonstop with a real ID of her friend’s sister that looks just like her. We ditched all the other girls cause they were not verified by this worker and stuck with the 1 girl that was clearly a clout chasing-plant and the nuke to the whole broadcast. We did not delete the VOD cause we got nothing to hide, we put our whole lives and opinions on 24/hr broadcasts and say whatever we want openly for years. Now try answering this question without joking, What would you have done differently? Nothing, thats what and you know it.”
