Ironmouse is a Virtual YouTuber (VTuber) and Twitch streamer. She is the second most followed VTuber on Twitch with 2.1 million followers.
The Twitch community has a range of creators with millions of followers. One immensely popular category is VTubers (Virtual YouTubers). Among them, Ironmouse has certainly been a standout creator. She has over 2.1 million followers on Twitch, making her the second most followed VTuber on the platform (only behind Nimu Spacecat, who has 2.5 million followers). For those unaware, Ironmouse is a Puerto Rican VTuber and having debuted in 2017, she is often considered one of the pioneers of this genre.
At the time of writing, she is associated with the popular VTubing agency called VShojo. She was among the six founding members of the organization in 2020. Aside from her content creation, she’s a well-known singer. Some of her most popular videos on YouTube are songs such as Anarchy (3.1 million views), King (2.7 million views) and Getcha (1.2 million views). The streamer has also hosted 3D concerts; she recently held one, debuting two new songs titled Devil (feat Bubi) and Rodent’s Kingdom.
As far as her Twitch streams are concerned, she mostly streams under the “Just Chatting” category. She also engages in a variety of games. Recently, she has been playing simulation games such as Watch Your Plastic Duck, Satisfactory, and TCG Card Shop Simulator.
What Is Ironmouse’s Recent Twitch Record?
September 2024 marked one of the most productive periods in Ironmouse’s career. She recently hosted a subathon (subscriber marathon) during which she broke various records.
Firstly, on September 24, she broke her own subscription record by surpassing 205K subscribers on Twitch. Just six days later, on September 30, she made history by becoming the most subscribed Twitch streamer of all time, reaching 326K subscribers. The previous record was held by Kai Cenat, who peaked at 306K subscribers.
Speaking about her achievement, she said:

What Medical Condition Does Ironmouse Have?
While Ironmouse exudes a lively and positive persona on screen, her real-life health isn’t the best. The VTuber has previously disclosed that she suffers from a medical condition called Common Variable Immunodeficiency (CVID).
Essentially, CVID prevents the body from producing antibodies needed to fight infections. In a stream in 2021, she explained:
“I have CVID. It is a medical condition, it is a genetic immune disease. My body doesn’t make antibodies to fight off infections or viruses so I have to get donated plasma from other humans every week to help.”
The streamer also carried a port-a-cath device:
“But sometimes, there has been a shortage because of COVID, so if you can donate plasma, please do. Because of my medical issues, I’m on medicine all the time, so I have a port-a-cath on my chest and I always have medicines flowing in me. But every so often I have to change my medicine’s doses.”
