Julian Newman, a well-known basketball player, went viral after a heated altercation with UnoTheActivist during Plaqueboymax’s live stream.
Julian Newman is an American intercollegiate basketball player who recently appeared on Maxwell “Plaqueboymax’s” livestream on Twitch. Newman plays for the Bethesda University basketball team, Bethesda Lion Angels. The basketball player was born on September 6, 2001, making him 23 years old as of this writing. He has over 709K followers on Instagram, where he posts basketball content and shares his achievements. The Lion Angels player got into a physical altercation with rapper UnoTheActivist after the latter made remarks about Julian’s girlfriend.

After Julian’s girlfriend taunted Uno, he made some remarks, that Newman did not like. Newman quickly went on to confront the rapper and squared up. FaZe Clan member Jasontheween stepped in to stop the interaction, which later turned into a fight. Before the interaction, Newman asked Max why he was allowing Uno to play. Max tried to deescalate the situation by asking both parties to calm down and stop reacting. After the fight broke out, Plaqueboymax was visibly upset and abruptly ended the livestream. Before ending the stream, Max asked the cameraman to end the stream:
“I’ll see y’all N****s tomorrow bro, I’m not doing this sh*t.”
Following the incident, Newman posted several Instagram stories seemingly targeted towards Uno. He also announced that he would be streaming on Twitch and explaining the situation in a livestream. He linked his new official Twitch channel, which has 40 followers as of this writing. Newman posted a 2-minute TikTok video where he accused the rapper of “clout-chasing.”

The clip of the interaction went viral on X, garnering over 728.6K views and 347 comments as of this writing. Many netizens chimed in to comment on the situation. While many believe that Julian was wrong in the situation, some commented that the interaction seemed scripted. Some comments on the post stated:
