Team Speed, captained by popular streamer Darren “IShowSpeed” emerged victorious at the Super Bowl LIX Flag Football event. The event held on February 8, 2025, featured Team Kai Cenat going against Team Speed in an American football match. The event was hosted by the NFL and YouTube, with it officially streaming on IShowSpeed’s channel. Kai and Speed led a team of music artists, professional football players, and fellow content creators. Team Speed won the game with a final score of 30-29.

Team Speed featured music artists, including Latto, Sexyy Red, and Quavo. The team also featured Cam Newton as a quarterback and Diana Flores, who is an Olympic athlete for Team Mexico.
Some of IShowSpeed’s fellow content creators included Mark Phillips, Adam W, Plaqueboymax, and Khaby. In the final seconds of the game, Quavo scored the decisive touchdown that secured Team Speed’s victory. The game started in Team Kai’s favor, but Team Speed ultimately made a comeback.
Team Kai featured Michael Vick as their quarterback, Ki’Lolo Westerlund, MMG, Cole Bennett, Teyana Taylor, Shedeur Sanders, Jordan Chiles, Deestroying, and Duke Dennis. The team started strong with multiple touchdowns. After the first quarter, IShowSpeed accused Team Kai along with Druski, of cheating. For those unaware, Druski was the main referee during the showdown. Moreover, Quavo accused Druski of giving multiple flags to Team Kai, which Speed agreed to.

Before the game began, Kai Cenat and Speed met up in the locker room, where the streamers set a wager between them. Kai wagered that if his team wins, Speed has to do an Elden Ring marathon, which he can only end after defeating Malenia, the game’s most difficult boss. While Speed wagered that if his Team Speed wins, Kai has to do the Mafiathon 3.
IShowSpeed also met up with YouTube’s CEO Neal Mohan, who congratulated the streamer—stating that he is a big fan. Neal promised Speed that the next year’s event would be even better.
