Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson recently teamed up with gaming and esports organization FaZe Clan for a challenge event on Twitch. Several members of FaZe Clan competed for $100,000 in prize money. During the event, FaZe Clan’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Richard Bengtson, aka FaZe Banks, was kicked out by MrBeast for alleged “clip farming.”

During the livestream, FaZe Banks knocked food out of Jason “Jasontheween” Nguyen’s hands and interrupted him. MrBeast immediately asked Banks to get off the set. Shortly after he was removed from the set, Banks returned and spoke with other FaZe members and hugged the winning contestant.

The event was supposed to last multiple rounds, but one of the contestants managed to win $100,000 after just one round.

MrBeast Accuses FaZe Banks of “Clip Farming”

When Banks disrupted the stream, MrBeast kicked him off the set and remarked:

“He’s clip farming. Get out of here. Don’t worry, I kicked him off the set.”

He proceeded to look at Banks and said:

“I need you off set.”

Clip farming is the act of saying or doing something controversial for attention online. MrBeast alleged that Banks disrupted the show for attention and clout.

The $100K FaZe Clan Challenge Ended in Just One Round

MrBeast appeared in the $100K Beast Games challenge with FaZe Clan to promote his upcoming game show, Beast Games. However, the event ended rather quickly as Maxwell Elliot Dent, aka FaZe Max, and his partner won the event in a single round.

During the event, six members of FaZe Clan teamed up with strangers in a bid to win $100,000. All members received a briefcase, but only one of them contained the prize money. At the end of each round, the contestants needed to vote for one of the teams to open the briefcase. The contestants voted for FaZe Max to open the briefcase, and the content creator won the prize money.

After the round ended, FaZe Banks returned and said:

“This random motherf**ker just won $100,000.”

At the end of the event, MrBeast returned with a cheque and presented it to the winner. He also promoted the upcoming Beast Wars game show, which airs on December 19, 2024. With a prize pool of $5 million, the show is set to overtake Squid Game: The Challenge’s prize pool of $4.56 million to become the reality TV show with the largest single prize pool in history.
