Wildgate throws you into epic space battles, and you have to use everything in your arsenal if you wish to survive. You’ll have turrets firing at you, enemies trying to raid your ship, lasers blasting about, and so much more. In the heat of battle, you’re bound to take a hit, and before you know it, your ship’s HP is in critical condition. Your only way to restore HP in such an instance would be to use Ice.

Ice is a blue asteroid crystal that helps heal your ship, restoring it to top fighting condition. Finding Ice crystals, however, is no easy task. Wildcraft’s maps are randomly generated, meaning you’re unlikely to find the blue crystals in the same place twice. If you’re someone looking for some Ice to heal your ship, but can’t find any, or perhaps don’t know how to retrieve it, we’re here to help. In this guide, we shall go over how to get Ice in Wildgate.

You get Ice in Wildgate by using your multitool gadget. Before you can acquire the Ice, however, you need to find it first. You find Ice by looking for the blue asteroid crystals floating in space. As stated earlier, the game’s maps are randomly generated. This means that the crystals will be in different spots each time. Seek the blue glow and you’ll find them very easily. The blue asteroid crystals are in a higher density near the POIs, so we recommend searching there first.

Once you’ve found the crystals, fly over to them with your multitool equipped. You’ll then get the option to interact with the crystal. Proceed ahead with the option, and you’ll automatically mine out the Ice crystal fragments from the asteroid. Head back to your ship and deposit them in the Processor. You can also interact with the Ship’s reactor to heal the ship using Ice.
