After the success of Wreckfest 2 on March 20, 2025, fans have taken to the roads in a rampage fashion. Every turn you take, be ready to be greeted by an incoming wave of tires and shattered glass. This Drift sequel is part of a fun franchise where racing is not taken seriously. It’s all about totalling both your car and everyone else’s car as much as you can. There is pure joy in wreckage, and this game shows it. In this article, we will be talking about content update 1 for Wreckfest 2’s early access.

The early access has been giving a lot of eager players the chance to share their feedback through surveys. These, in turn, have made it possible to bring out the first update of improvements and changes.

The players now have the option to disable the driver as well as the wheel. Once you disable them, you will have a direct view of the cockpit to increase immersion and the sense of actually being in the car. Talk about taking a direct hit. Alongside that, you will also be able to adjust the field of view as per your liking. Now it depends on whether you wish to be a bit further away during a crash or just take it head-on by going as close as you can.

You can now invite your friends to your lobby and decimate each other’s cars to your heart’s content. Not only that, but they have also added a feature to help sort servers by ‘Name’ and ‘Players’ to make it easier to find a desired server. A search feature has also been added to find particular hosted servers. When in-game with friends, you will be able to see the positions of your mates highlighted to keep track of their whereabouts.
