Wuchang Fallen Feathers, much like any other RPG, features a huge assortment of armor pieces to collect. As you progress through the game’s story, you will eventually unlock a wide array of outfits that each offer a unique look for Wuchang, along with various passive bonuses. One such armor is the Centipede set. As the name suggests, it’s an armor themed around Centipede and also the main story boss, Blightweaver – Great Centipede.
Furthermore, for an early-game option, the Centipede set is easily the best choice in the game purely in terms of its defensive attributes. It not only offers excellent physical defense but also increased Corruption resistance.
However, before you can equip the Centipede armor, you first need to unlock it. Here’s everything you need to know about the Centipede armor in Wuchang Fallen Feathers and how to unlock it.
How To Obtain the Centipede Armor Set in Wuchang Fallen Feathers
The primary requirement for unlocking the Centipede armor set is defeating Blightweaver – Great Centipede. The Blightweaver – Great Centipede is the final boss of the Bandit Caves area. Furthermore, for an early-game encounter, it’s one of the most challenging bosses in Wuchang Fallen Feathers. However, once you defeat the Great Centipede, you will unlock not only its Spell but also the armor set. That said, the armor set isn’t received automatically upon defeating the boss.
Once you get past the Bandit Caves and Blightweaver – Great Centipede, you can talk to the armor vendor at Shu Sanctuary to buy the Centipede armor set.
That said, for early-game, it’s fairly expensive armor. Unless you really like the look of the armor set, we recommend buying it after you’ve reached Level 30 or higher. Here are the prices of the Centipede armor set:
- Centipede Hood – 1230 Red Mercury
- Centipede Carapace – 1970 Red Mercury
- Centipede Vambraces – 740 Red Mercury

Is the Centipede Armor Set Worth Buying?
The Centipede armor set is easily one of the best when it comes to physical defense. Furthermore, the bonus Corruption resistance also makes the armor a good choice for some of the mid to late-game boss fights. If you’re looking for good early-game armor, the Centipede set is a perfect choice.
However, there are a few alternatives to the Centipede set, namely the Soul Ritual and Pirate sets. That said, the Soul Ritual set is a Deluxe Edition exclusive armor set. If you don’t have access to Deluxe Edition outfits, the Centipede set is a great pick for early-game.
