As huge as the WWE 2K25 roster is, it has some notable names missing – names that were prominent in WWE 2K24, the last entry in this series. Most of these wrestlers are missing in WWE 2K25 either because they left. Some of the other names, however, are missing for no such reason and are still with the company in some capacity. Their absence, despite ties with the WWE, is shocking, to say the least.

- Big Boss Man: Big Boss Man is a glaring omission from the WWE 2K25 roster.
- Bobby Lashley: Bobby Lashley’s contract expired in 2024.
- Boston Connor: Connor came in as DLC.
- Cameron Grimes: Cameron Grimes was released from the WWE roster in 2024.
