Popular Kick streamer xQc called out people who criticised “black characters” in video games, stating it as the reason to “undersell.”
Felix “xQc”, a Kick and Twitch star, has voiced his displeasure with people who criticize the depiction of minorities in video games. In a 42-second video that was uploaded on X, the French-Canadian celebrity attacked people who were “hiding behind the dog whistle.” According to the streamer, those who assert that minority representation causes some video games to undersell “don’t even play” the games. He stated:
“Dog whistle bulls**t all f**king day! ‘Guys, this game undersold.’ Like, you care about video games? A lot of people that are talking about don’t even play video games. They don’t even play video games, but oh, but now this video game has a minority, ‘Dude! I hate this,’ or whatever. Bro, just say it like it is so that we can know for sure what you are.”
The former Overwatch player continued to rant about it. He questioned why they did it and was confused about the situation. xQc also questioned about what he was missing out on. He then said:
“Why do they hide it? I don’t get it. If their take and their view on this is so based, why aren’t they all up in arms about it? Why do they hide behind dog whistle? I thought it was the better opinion. Just say it then. I’m confused. What am I missing?”
Additionally, xQc called out the “right-wing” people and shared his thoughts about Black characters in various games. He said that these people complain about the facts associated with the games. He added:
“…Person in my game, this is not historically accurate, this is not how it would happen, blah, blah, blah, and they all come out of woodworks and they start f**king saying some bulls**t. Listen, I don’t care about what you think about my political inclinations or whatever, okay? Anytime there’s, oh, a Black character in this game, everybody, all the right-wingers come out of the woodworks.”
xQc’s “Moving Laundry” Theory
xQc gained recognition on social media again, but for an odd cause this time. X user @LeBanditMAXWIN posted several X posts on the streamer’s official X Community, The Jungle, on March 19, 2025. On the same day, the netizen posted multiple screenshots from the content creator’s livestream to talk about a “mystery” involving his “moving laundry.”
xQc attempted to “fix his blinds” at the 12-minute mark of the Twitch broadcast, according to @LeBanditMAXWIN. This is when the laundry pile “moved a great length”:

They shared another clip where a similar incident happened. This time, they also asked xQc to respond and clarify the mystery behind the moving laundry. They stated:
“Finally, xQc stands at 54:00 to remove the remaining laundry into the hall. He shuts the door and sits back down with no laundry behind him as seen at 54:51. xQc HAS YET TO COMMENT ON THIS CASE AFTER REACHING OUT TO HIM DURING THE STREAM HE IGNORED IT. WE NEED ANSWERS. END.”
Finally, xQc stands at 54:00 to remove the remaining laundry into the hall. He shuts the door and sits back down with no laundry behind him as seen at 54:51.
