Popular Twitch and Kick streamer xQc called FaZe Clans new logo “corny” and said that it looks like a wrench.
On January 1, 2025, Felix Lengyel, popularly known as xQc, came across the FaZe Clan’s post where they had announced that they were rebranding. This also included a new logo. When xQc saw the logo, he was a little shocked and said that it looked like a wrench. He said,
“FaZe rebrand… corny. What?! Brother, I’ve got to be honest with you, this looks like Ratchet & Clank or some st. Guys, this looks like a wrench. This is like a wrench that you buy out to fking repair a car or something. Yeah, I don’t know. Guys, am I wrong? It looks like of like a wrench, no? Guys, I see this, I see a wrench.”

Following this, xQc also talked about the colour theme that FaZe Clan used for their rebranding. He made fun of the colour scheme questioning the choice of red, green, and blue. He said,
“RGB (red, green, and blue). What?! Oh, get out! Get out. Okay, get them out of here. All right, next up.”
Stable Ronaldo’s Reply To xQc
On January 2, 2025, FaZe Clan member Stable Ronaldo, criticized xQc for his reaction to the esports organization’s rebranding. Ronaldo said that he saw what Felix had said about the logo saying that the streamer is poor. Furthermore, he stated that he was more famous than Felix. He said,
“Yo, I saw this tweet. Basically, it was a clip of xQc saying FaZe is corny or whatever, the new design. Bro, first and foremost you are poor. Second of all, I am more famous and rich than you. Third of all, stop f**king interrupting my streams coming in my chat, bro, I am going to keep it a buck.”
In addition to this, he also called out xQc for hating on other streamers in the community. Additionally, he suggested that Felix should be nice to people as he feels like he has been too rude recently. He continued,
“And fourth of all bro, you are f**king ugly. F**k you, bro. You’re such a hater of every single streamer. Why don’t you just get with the program? Why don’t you be nicer to people? You’re so rude recently. I don’t understand.”

No matter what xQc said, the excitement for the rebranding was visible among the clan members when the announcement was made on January 1, 2025. FaZe Clan member FaZe Bank uploaded a 9-minute video explaining why the rebranding was important. He said,
“It’s the first time in FaZe’s history that we’re changing the logo or making any sort of changes to the logo. The old logo had sharp edges, and we’re simply smoothing them out. We like the subtle change, light change. Obviously, we’re in a new era of FaZe, FaZe’s story, and FaZe’s history. I think it was important to do something like this. I also prefer the new look. Just smoother and calmer.”
