xQc is set to play as a goalkeeper in the Sidemen Charity Match 2025. The streamer could collaborate with Ben Foster.

Twitch and Kick streamer Felix “xQc” has expressed his intention to host some practice sessions before his appearance in the upcoming Sidemen Charity Match 2025. For those unaware, the French Canadian has been invited back to the event. At the last event, he was the goalkeeper for the away side—YouTube All-Stars XI (YTAS). This time, the streamer will represent the host side—Sidemen FC (SDMN FC). Prior to the match, however, xQc wants to get some practice in:
“someone in UK, gimme a PRO gk, and ask if he can do a training with meh in london.”

Those who tuned in for 2023’s event will remember that the streamer had some individual errors, leading to conceding quite a few goals. In fact, he ended up with a dismal 0.3 match rating at the end of the game (the lowest among all the players).
Felix wants to improve on his past mistakes and has opened himself up for a collaborative session with Ben Foster, aka The Cycling GK. Foster is a former English goalkeeper who is now a full-time YouTuber (1.47 million subscribers), making him a perfect mentor for the streamer. Felix confirmed that he sent the former goalkeeper a DM in an offline Twitch chat message:

IShowSpeed Reacts to News of xQc Playing Against Him in the Sidemen Charity Match 2025
xQc didn’t have his best game the last time he played in the Sidemen Charity Match. He conceded some easy goals, and his team, YouTube All-Stars XI, lost the match 8-5. This time, however, he has the opportunity to represent the home side, Sidemen FC.
YouTube streamer Darren “IShowSpeed,” who is set to play in the event this Saturday (March 8), recently reacted to xQc being announced as the goalkeeper. Initially, he thought xQc was playing for the YouTube All-Stars:
“xQc, goalkeeper, again?! Oh hell nah! And he on YouTube AllStars? Chat, I’m not playin’ bro. Oh, hell nah chat… This has probably got to be one of the worst goalkeepers I have ever seen in my life… I think an eight-year-old can play better goalkeeper than X bro, ain’t no way he’s goalkeeper.”
Upon realizing he might be facing xQc rather than playing alongside him, Speed said:
“Oh! Hold on! Yes! Yes! I might actually play. This looks better now… see look, now we have a chance. He’s on KSI team, he’s on Sidemen team, okay… I got clickbaited.”
🚨| NEW: xQc responded to Speed, saying he’ll look like an “MVP goalie” if Speed plays in the Sidemen charity match 😭😭😭 https://t.co/n5tExCNg7b pic.twitter.com/rA9OYSFuV0

xQc has since clapped back at Speed’s comical jibe, trolling his footballing skills by saying he looks like a “broken AI.” He said:
“Wait, was he even playing last year brother?… This guy on offense looked like a broken AI. He would run up and down the pitch, without making any curves with the ball, slide-tackling ghost on the pitch, what are you talking about? You’re doing nothing!”
