During a recent Pokemon pack opening stream, xQc opened 12 rare holographic cards and a First Edition Blaine’s Charizard.

Twitch streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel opened $100,000 worth of Pokemon cards in a recent livestream and made an estimated profit of $10,000 to $30,000. The rarest card in the pack opening was a First Edition Blaine’s Charizard worth over $4,000 in mint condition.
xQc’s pack opening had over a dozen holographic cards, including the original three legendary birds – Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno. Other notable holographic cards from his collection include Muk, Lapras, Haunter, and two copies of Gengar.
All the cards xQc opened were from the First Edition boxes, which have become increasingly rare. This was not the first time the streamer opened Pokemon packs. He has a large collection of rare Pokemon cards including an Ancient Mew, which was exclusively rewarded to people who attended The Power of One Pokemon movie in 2000.
Best Cards From xQc’s Pokemon Pack Opening
During xQc’s first-generation pack opening, the streamer opened holographic cards worth up to $3,000 each. He opened legendary birds and fan-favorite Ghost-type Pokemon. The streamer also opened two copies of the coveted First Edition Gengar, which are worth up to $5,000 in the collector’s market.
The highlight of the pack-pulling sessions was the First Edition Blaine’s Charizard, which is a highly sought-after card by fans and investors alike. xQc spent around $100,000 on the packs and made a profit. He will add the cards to his childhood card collection, which also has several high-value Pokemon cards.
There are multiple Blaines’ Charizards available right now. However, the streamer opened the oldest version of the card, which was released in limited quantity. He wants to send the cards for grading, which will give him an accurate estimate of his collection’s value.
The Streamer Has Rare 1990s Pokemon Cards
xQc’s First Edition Blaine’s Charizard is not the only coveted card among Pokemon fans. The streamer has a large collection of cards from his childhood. He started collecting the cards before investors and scalpers took over the market. During a livestream on November 28, 2024, the streamer showed off a first-edition Charizard, saying:
“This card was exposed to the air for like a fraction of a second, and never saw the air ever again. It’s double-wrapped, which people tell you not to do but I did that 20 years ago.”
He also has other coveted cards like Dark Charizard, Dark Blastoise, and Ancient Mew, which are currently worth around $100 each. The streamer said he has no plans to sell any of his cards and wants to keep them as memorabilia.
