Thomas, popularly known online as TurkeyTom, has been diagnosed with cancer. The commentary YouTuber took to X to announce his diagnosis via an X post. While the YouTuber has not mentioned what type of cancer he has been diagnosed with, fans believe the post was a satirical one. The YouTuber is known for his documentary-style YouTube videos, where he comments on several online personalities. His videos have featured commentaries on Cody Ko, Boogie2988, and several others. In his announcement post, TurkeyTom wrote:

TurkeyTom boasts a massive following of 1.39 million subscribers on YouTube, where he has uploaded over 200 videos. Thomas is also a co-host of the Half Baked podcast with Nicholas DeOrio and Lord Vega. The podcast covers several ongoing topics and drama in the content creator industry. Apart from his main channel, he also streams on YouTube under the TomDarkLive alias. Tom also makes commentary-style videos on his alternate YouTube channel, TomDark. In total, Tom has over 2.05 million subscribers across his four channels.
