Learn how to complete the First Steps mission in 2XKO, including all objectives, rewards, and tips for quick progression.
The 2v2 fighting game 2XKO distributes rewards to players through a mission system that encourages steady progress and completion of various challenges. In addition to daily and weekly missions, the game offers an introductory mission for beginners: First Steps. Besides helping you learn the fundamentals of 2XKO, completing the First Steps mission rewards you with one Champion Token.

The First Steps mission contains a series of beginner-friendly objectives that guide you through the basics of 2XKO. To see all the tasks you need to fulfill for First Steps, head to the Progression tab, second in the top bar, and select “View All Missions” in the bottom right corner. You will have to fulfill all 12 objectives to complete First Steps.
Fight as a Duo in 5 Matches in a Matchmade Lobby
Select Play and join a public lobby as a duo team. You can queue into a public lobby through Casual or Ranked matches. Ranked matches only become available once you have reached level 3. When playing a Casual or Ranked game, ensure you join a lobby with a teammate to fight as a duo. The teammate does not need to be on your friends list.

Edit Your Avatar
Head to the Collection tab marked by a pouch icon and open the Avatar menu. Apply any change and exit the menu to complete the task.
Unlock Your Free Champion
Open the Champions tab located between Progression and Collection. Select a fighter you prefer and press Unlock. You can spend the free Champion Token received at the beginning of the game to complete this task.
Edit Your Player Card or Title
In the Collection tab, select Cards and Titles. Unlock either of the two to complete the task. You can purchase new Cards by spending Credits gained through completing missions.
Modify Your Sticker Wheel
Select Expressions in the Collection tab and choose the stickers you want to use to communicate with other players. Adding at least one sticker to the sticker wheel will complete the task.
View the Battle Pass
Open the Progression tab and select “View Battle Pass” at the bottom. Doing so will complete the objective. Once you have enough XP for new Battle Pass rewards, you can claim them through this tab.
Complete 25 Lessons in the Tutorial or Advanced Lessons
The final six objectives of First Steps involve completing tutorials or advanced lessons. Head to the Learn tab marked by a scholar’s hat symbol in the top bar. You can play any tutorial or advanced lesson to progress the objective. Completing 25 tutorials will fulfill all the tasks related to tutorials.
