2) ASUS Prime B650-PLUS WiFi Motherboard With Ryzen 9000 Series Support
The ASUS Prime B650-PLUS WiFi is another fantastic budget motherboard that is just as capable as the one above but at a much lower cost. It has a 12 + 2 VRM power phase, enough to run even the most power-hungry CPUs like Ryzen 9 9950X with 170W TDP.
However, we wouldn’t recommend overclocking it on this board, even though it is capable. ASUS Prime B650-PLUS WiFi has two M.2 ports for your SSDs with support for PCIe Gen 5 connectivity for one of them. It also features advanced audio connectivity with an S/PDIF port.

The ASRock B650M PG Lightning Wi-Fi is a budget-oriented motherboard with a lot of value. It has a 6 + 2 + 1 VRM configuration with quality Dr.MOS’ MOSFET modules. This allows it to power CPUs with a TDP of 65 – 105W, but it is not recommended for processors beyond 105W. This motherboard has Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 for better wireless connectivity.
It also has three M.2 ports, with one of them supporting PCIe Gen 5, which is usually only found in high-end and more expensive boards. Overall, the ASRock B650M PG Lightning Wi-Fi is a great budget motherboard.

4) MSI PRO B650M-P ProSeries Motherboard

The MSI PRO B650M-P ProSeries is one of the cheapest B650 motherboards currently available. This board costs under $110, yet it has two M.2 ports. Additionally, both M.2 ports support PCIe Gen 4, which is rare in budget motherboards.
It also has 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity for ultra-fast networking. Moreover, you can overclock the RAM to around 7200MHz, depending on the CPU and memory quality. For VRAM, it has a basic 6 + 2+ 1, so it can run 65W processors without any issues. Higher wattage CPUs will throttle on this board.
However, we would like to mention that this is a renewed product, hence it is cheaper. If you are not comfortable with a renewed product, then you should look at the next budget motherboard.

5) MSI PRO A620M-E ProSeries Motherboard With Ryzen 9000 Series Support
The MSI PRO A620M-E ProSeries is the cheapest motherboard on this list and is designed for users with a strict budget. It costs only $89, and as such, it is only equipped with the most basic features.
It has two RAM slots with support for up to DDR5-6800MHz, but you may not achieve more than DDR5-6200 since you will most likely pair it with a budget Ryzen CPU and RAM kits. It has only one M.2 slot with PCIe Gen 4 support. Also, MSI PRO A620M-E’s x16 GPU slot supports PCIe Gen 4, so you will have no issues adding modern graphics cards.
