Solo Leveling originally followed the life of Sung Jin-Woo, the weakest hunter in the world who gained the ability to level up in strength. Sung Suho is the son of Sung Jin-Woo and Cha Hae-In and the protagonist of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok. His life is unique, and fans appreciate him as a standalone character rather than simply Jin-Woo’s son. Let us take a closer look at this.
Who Is Sung Suho in Solo Leveling?
Sung Suho is the child of two of the most powerful characters in the Solo Leveling universe. However, he never could appreciate his privilege for a long time. This was because his memories and powers had been sealed by his father.
As the heir of the Shadow Monarch, Suho had shown prodigious talent ever since he was a child. Unfortunately, this isolated him from others. To ensure Suho lived a normal life, Jin-Woo locked his son’s abilities and memories.
Once Suho was ready to bear the weight of his identity, the seal would gradually erode. Despite this, Suho’s personality greatly resembled Jin-Woo. He was very protective of others, jumping in to fight against bullies.

Living an ordinary life as a student, Suho knew nothing about his parents or rich ancestry. However, when the Mist Burn monsters threatened his classmates, he jumped in to help them. At this point, Jin-Woo sensed the interference of the monsters in the world and sent Beru to assist his son regain his powers.
With Beru’s help, Suho defeated the monsters in front of him and also learned of his identity as the “Young Monarch”. Learning about his missing mother and his father’s battle against the Itarim, the shadow informs Suho of the System bestowed upon him and the need for him to gain strength.
Wishing to track his parents and not be powerless anymore, Suho sets off on the path to becoming a hunter. He gains abilities such as Shadow Extraction while adding soldiers to his army and running into his father’s past enemies.
Therefore, Suho’s journey of entering dungeons and leveling up might be similar to Jin-Woo’s, but his reasons for doing so are widely different. Watching him face his struggles, audiences are slowly beginning to warm up to him.
