This is an in-game event providing temporary buffs and new policy choices for the government of your in-game civilization. Additionally, the type of buff you will receive will depend on your government type. The option to choose the type of government is provided at the beginning of the game. For fast expansion, we recommend government types with bonus food yield, e.g., Oligarchy in the Antiquity Era which gives +20% Food for 10 Turns.

Triggering Celebrations

To Trigger Celebrations, you must earn enough Global Happiness. The Global Happiness is represented by a smiling face icon at the top-left of the screen. After a Celebration is ready, a prompt saying “Choose Celebration” appears at the bottom right corner of the screen. Clicking on it would activate the Celebration, providing buffs for a few turns.

How To Earn Global Happiness

As of now, the exact mechanics of how to increase Global Happiness is unclear. However, we expect to know this once the game is fully released.
