The game sees you and other Helldivers act as the galaxy’s last line of defense and battle against an alien race in order to protect your very existence. 2) A Way Out
While we would’ve loved to put It Takes Two on the list, the game is not on sale in the Steam Spring Sale 2025. If you’re looking to scratch that It Takes Two itch, we highly recommend Hazelight Studio’s A Way Out. The game follows two characters stuck in a comedy-crime drama as they break their way out of prison (and much more, but we won’t spoil that).
You only have to buy the game once, too, as purchasing the game grants you the Friend Pass, which you can share with a friend and play together. At the price tag of $4.49, you can’t go wrong with this one.

3) Dying Light 2
Dying Light 2 features an open world that is overrun by zombies. Decades into the apocalypse, the streets are no longer safe, and you have to rely on parkouring across roofs to traverse safely. The parkour and zombies are the game’s main hooks and are really all it needs to be a boatload of fun. The gameplay is fast-paced and chaotic, and doubly so when you bring a friend along. There are tons of rooftops to jump across and skyscrapers to scale as you evade zombies.
While the story may be its weakest point, it serves to throw you into cool parkour scenarios where you’re chased by super-powered zombies. At the price of $19.79, what’s not to like? We highly recommend picking this one up.
4) Overcooked 2
If you’ve watched The Bear, you know how stressful running a restaurant kitchen could be. Overcooked 2 lets you experience and share all of that stress with a friend virtually in one of the best co-op games ever made. You and your friends run a restaurant kitchen, fulfilling orders and juggling food ingredients. Time is of the essence, as running an order late could risk pissing off a customer.
The more you progress in the game, the greater the challenge becomes, requiring the utmost coordination and patience. You’ll either love this one or hate it (still won’t be able to put the controller down). At $6.24 in the Steam Spring Sale 2025, Overcooked 2 is worth every penny.
5) Resident Evil 5
Capcom’s Resident Evil 4 is one of the greatest games of all time. But what if you could play this great game with a friend? Resident Evil 5 lets you do exactly that in two-player co-op action. The game features the same crisp mechanics you saw in RE4 and brings it to a multiplayer environment that demands greater levels of teamwork and synergy. The game runs 10 to over hours, stringing you along on a grand adventure that involves facing different biohazards and bosses.
Once you’re done with the story, you can hop on and perfect your gameplay mechanics with a friend in Mercenary mode, too. The game is priced at $4.99 as part of the Steam Spring Sale 2025 and is a solid deal.
