The Steam Spring Sale 2025 is now live and brings with it a boatload of deals on several games spanning multiple genres. Fans of the RPG genre, especially, are eating pretty well in this sale due to deep discounts on many RPG heavy hitters. Popular titles, such as Cyberpunk 2077, Baldur’s Gate 3, Fallout 4, and many more, are on sale.

The sales are not equal, however, with some games featuring much steeper discounts. If you’re an RPG fan looking to pick up a game in the sale this week, we’ve filtered out some of the best RPGs with the steepest sales to help you fill up your Steam library. In this article, we shall go over the best RPG deals you need to pick up in the Steam Spring Sale 2025.

1) Cyberpunk 2077

Kicking off this list is Cyberpunk 2077, a polarizing game at launch that then went on to redeem itself and win fans over. The game throws you into the trenches and penthouses of the two-faced Night City as you’re repeatedly pitted against the capitalist overlords of the city. The narrative is tight, and the gameplay is the best we’ve seen from the Polish developer. The game was absolutely worth the price at $59.99 and is even more so at a 60 percent discounted price of $23.99.

2) The Witcher 3

Following Cyberpunk on this list is CD Projekt RED’s magnum opus—The Witcher 3. The game is priced at $7.99 for the base game and $9.99 for the complete edition after a steep 80 percent discount. The Witcher 3 is considered by many to be the greatest RPG of all time, if not the greatest game overall.

The world and narrative are all shades of gray, painted by your actions, Geralt of Rivia. Each choice has a butterfly effect that shapes the world and story, adding layers to the narrative and enhancing replayability. This is the definitive RPG experience and a steal at this price point.

3) Elden Ring

Elden Ring is an action RPG that offers you dozens of weapons and builds to choose from before throwing you into a decaying world carefully crafted by the twisted minds of George R.R. Martin and Miyazaki. While the story is not the highlight here, there is plenty of lore to uncover and secrets to find. The combat and bosses are the stars of the show.

The game boasts the hardest boss battles we’ve ever seen in the Soulsborne games, with the likes of Malenia capable of mopping the floor with players. Dark Souls, but open-world is the best way to describe it, and at a $35.99 price tag, it is absolutely worth it.

4) Persona 5 Royal

Persona 5 is a great game in its own right, but the expanded version, titled Persona 5 Royal, completely blows the vanilla version out of the water. The new and improved Persona 5 Royal expands upon everything you love about the original game. The game expands upon the characters and adds an additional month to the cycle.

This extra month gives the narrative and characters extra room to breathe instead of feeling rushed. The turn-based gameplay is tight, placing a great emphasis on patience and strategic thinking. You really can’t go wrong with this one at the $23.99 price tag.

5) Divinity Original Sin 2

The final game on this list is Divinity Original Sin 2. While we would’ve loved to include Baldur’s Gate 3 on this list, the game hasn’t seen a good enough discount yet. While you wait for the BG3 price to drop lower, we highly recommend experiencing the game that set the foundation for BG3—Divinity Original Sin 2.

An even higher fantasy version of BG3, Divinity Original Sin 2 throws you into a corrupt yet vibrant world. The turn-based combat is tight, allowing opportunities for different playstyles through varied companion abilities. The narrative, too, is on par with BG3, woven through the choices you make. At $13.49, this is absolutely worth your time.
