Thane’s Authority is one weapon that falls in the latter and is one of the strongest weapons in the game.
Thane’s Authority is a two-handed greataxe with Power Level 4. The weapon also has a 4 Attack Combo, alongside an 86 Damage Multiplier and 40 Block. The weapon may be heavy and slow but it hits like an absolute truck.
Thane’s Authority impressive weapon stats also make it a rare find. To get Thane’s Authority, you first need to find its recipe. You get the recipe for this weapon by defeating the Garou enemies in the game. This means you’ll have to seek out the Garou Thanes or the Garou King to defeat them. Even then, the recipe has a low drop rate and you’ll have to farm quite a bit to get the recipe to drop.
We recommend targeting the Garou King. The Garou King is harder to beat but has a higher drop rate. Keep running through the Garou until one of them drops the ‘Lore Page’ item. Read this item to unlock the Thane’s Authority greataxe recipe.
Once you have the recipe, it is time to get crafting. You craft Thane’s Authority using the Smithing Anvil. Bring the following ingredients to the Smithing Anvil to craft the weapon:
- 10x Iron Bar
- 8x Bronze Bar
- 4x Oak Logs
- 4x Vault Shard
