In this guide, we shall go over the Umaril the Unfeathered quest in Oblivion Remastered, a Knights of the Nine quest.
The original Oblivion’s story was critically acclaimed at the time of its release, but Bethesda really outdid themselves with the Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles DLC. Both of these DLCs expanded on the world you love and now come directly integrated into the main game with Oblivion Remastered.
Umaril the Unfeathered is one of the DLC quests in the Knights of the Nine Saga. This quest brings you toe to toe with Umaril, but getting to him is no easy task. The shrine he resides in is full of gimmicks and tough enemies, and navigating the area can be a chore.

How To Complete Umaril the Unfeathered in Oblivion Remastered

You begin this quest by acquiring it at the Priority of the Nine, and then heading to Garlas Malatar, northwest of Anvil. Approach the area and you will find knights waiting by the bridge. Cross over and use the stone door to enter Garlas Malatar.
Follow the path left and to reach a chamber. Defeat the Aurorans and press the block on the altar to your left. Head left from here and fight the hordes of Aurorans along the way. Let the knights lead the way and charge at the enemy. They will act as a buffer and will also ensure you stay on the right path.
The knights will lead you to Garlas Malatar, Ceysel, where you have to activate a block to open the doors. After this, you will have to fight your way through a chamber of Aurorans. A smoke barrier is infinitely spawning these enemies. Take the staircase to your left to reach the upper level and destroy the orb on the rafters to break the barrier. Doing so will also unlock the path to Garlas Malatar, Carac Abaran.
Continue on in this area till you reach a green-ish chamber. A set of stairs will emerge from the ground, leading you to the upper level. Climb up the stairs to find Umaril. Defeat Umaril in battle to destroy his physical form. Next, cast the Blessing of Talos upon yourself to follow his spirit. You will then be taken to another realm where you have to fight Umaril’s spirit. Kill his spirit and return to Priory of the Nine to complete the quest.
