Solving the Flame Door Puzzle in Doom The Dark Ages
While most doors are blocked by force fields and other enemies, this one is being guarded by fire. The flames are coming downwards from a shaft, and it can be turned off. This puzzle in Doom The Dark Ages isn’t the hardest, especially when the solution is right around the corner. Here is a step-by-step process of solving the flame door puzzle:
- Find an elevated path.
- Look for the lock on the back wall.
- Throw your shield.
- Jump into the room.
- Look towards your right to see the valve.
- Interact with the valve.
Hop through the hole and make your way to the ground floor, then turn the valve. It is easy to miss, especially if you rush through the main door and walk out where you first started.
