In this guide, we shall go over how to get a Sandbike in Dune Awakening, so you can move around the map faster.

Dune Awakening throws you deep into the hell that is Arrakis. The sand planet is notoriously hostile and has been faithfully recreated in the game. The map is massive, filled with quests to complete, contracts to take on, and outposts to raid.
While the massive map and numerous activities may seem exciting at first glance, traveling back and forth between several locations quickly becomes a chore. Thankfully, Dune Awakening accounts for this by adding a variety of vehicles, among which the Sandbike may be the coolest.
The Sandbike is a hunk of a bike with three sets of wheels. The large wheel at the back helps generate speed, while the front wheels help control mobility. This is one of the best means of traversal early in the game and allows you to save time traveling between objectives. In this guide, we shall go over how to get a Sandbike in Dune Awakening.

How To Obtain a Sandbike in Dune Awakening

The normal way to obtain a Sandbike is through the game’s crafting mechanic. But before we get to that, there’s a simpler way to acquire a bike early on for free and without grinding. To find a free bike, head over to the scavenger camps in the Hagga Basin South region of the game. Explore the camps and you’ll stumble upon the bike in one of them.

Crafting the bike is a slightly more complicated process, but it is better overall if you consider the “teach a man how to fish” proverb. To craft a bike, you’ll need the Sandbike Mk1 Assembly Schematic, which you can unlock by playing the Journey quests. Once you have the schematic, follow the steps below:
- Head over to any Fabricator and interact with it to open a menu.
- Cycle through the tabs and go to the Vehicle tab. This is the sixth tab from the left.
- You’ll find a list of Sandbike parts here. Craft all the parts individually.
- Use a Welding Torch to assemble them all together to make a Sandbike.
