Basalt Stone is available in many parts of the northwestern section of the Arrakis map. That means you can find the material at the Eastern and Western Shield Walls, Sheol, and other nearby locations. However, you can mine substantial amounts of the material in a particular location known as Mysa Tarill. To get to this spot, you will need to proceed west from the Jabal Eifrit location. You can find a considerable amount of the resource in this location. Also, there aren’t any enemies here, allowing you to claim the material in peace.

However, before making your way here, make sure you are armed with the Mk3 variant of the Cutteray. The lower-tier Cutterays simply won’t be able to mine the material, so don’t even bother traveling to the location with the Cutteray Mk2, for instance.

How To Use Basalt Stone to Craft the Plastone in Dune Awakening

Crafting the Plastone will require several items, one of which is Basalt Stone. The first thing you’ll need, though, is a Medium Ore Refinery, which is an upgrade from the smaller variant. If you’ve already unlocked the required refinery, here is the recipe for producing 250x Plastone:

  • 200x Basalt Stone
  • 50x Water
  • 1x Silicone Block

As you can see, crafting the Plastone requires a significant amount of Basalt Stone. So, make sure you collect as much of it as possible whenever you find a vein. Using a Dune Buggy can help speed up the gathering process considerably.
