Dune Awakening’s gameplay involves constantly collecting and salvaging resources to create better equipment and forge upgrades. By the point you progress to the late game stages, you will need to arm yourself with the highest-quality tier weapons, armor, and items. Otherwise, taking on your foes might seem almost impossible. Unfortunately, crafting the Mk5 upgrades for your gear also requires you to collect some rare and hard- to-reach materials.

One prime example of this is Jasmium Crystals. This particular resource is only available in irradiated areas of the map, making it a dangerous prospect to mine them. In this guide, we’ll explore exactly where you have to go when looking for Jasmium Crystals in Dune Awakening.

Where To Find Jasmium Crystals in Dune Awakening?

You will find Jasmium Crystals in the Sheol region, which lies to the southwest of the Western Vermillius Gap. The area is extremely radioactive, which means you can’t just stroll right in on foot or on your Sandbike. Instead, you will need to fly your Ornithopter there and try to spot the Jasmium Crystal veins while being up in the air.

Keep in mind that a radiation bar will appear on screen whenever you enter such radioactive regions. As it fills up, the bar will change color. When it turns red, you should immediately get out of the region or risk death. Once you spot the material, you’ll have to land the Ornithopter and mine it, all the while keeping a close watch on how radiated you are.

If you’re trying to mine Jasmium Crystals, you need to meet the following requirements first.

You need to have access to a Cutteray Mk4 or higher to mine the resource. Lower-tier Cutterays simply cannot mine the crystals.
You will need to have access to an Ornithopter to enter the Sheol region and look around for the material.
Lastly, you need to equip a Radiation Suit when gathering the Jasmium Crystals on the ground.

It’s also a great idea to have a few consumables that are infused with Iodine. When your radiation bar turns red, you can consume some of these items to reduce the radiation levels, giving you more time to mine the resource.

Jasmium Crystals are an important ingredient in creating Duraluminum Ingots. The following is the recipe to craft 1x Duraluminum Ingot.

500x Water
1x Aluminum Ingot
4x Jasmium Crystal

You’ll need a lot of Duralumiun Ingots if you’re looking to fabricate some of the best items and gear in the game. So, you’ll also require a vast stockpile of Jasmium Crystals. Take proper precaution against the radiation, and you should be able to get the material in sufficient quantities without any problem.
