Base Locations in Dune Awakening are really important to help you set up for the overall game. From early to late-game, the locations of your bases will determine how fast you can optimize your survivability and resources. You can basically build a base anywhere in the game. But some locations are closer to everything you need, such as trading outposts, caves, quests, and metal deposits.

So, here are the 5 best locations to build your base in Dune Awakening.

Dune Awakening’s 5 Best Locations To Build Your Base

Jabal Eifrit Al-Janub

This area is probably the best base for your entire Dune Awakening experience. Not only can it be accessed straight from the early game, but everything you require from the start, such as resource veins and trading outposts, are located very close by.

This location is unlocked after completing the early game tutorial quests. All the resources that you require during the early to mid-phase of Dune Awakening are located close to this base. Plus, it is also a pretty safe area compared to the rest of the list.

Anvil Trading Post

Located in the Vermillius Gap, the Anvil Trading Post is more of a transitional base in Dune Awakening. This location serves as a good point for house quests for both the Atreides and the Harkonnen. This area also has a stable supply of water plants and the Ghanima cavern, which is a good schematic farming spot. The central location of the post also helps you transfer your base to other locations in Dune Awakening as well.

Consider creating this base in the mid-game, and not too early on.

The Imperial Testing Station 2 is best for a beginner base as it has everything to progress fast. With special materials available to farm and schematics, plus a healthy amount of mineral veins for construction, this is one of the best locations for an early base. The Sandworms are also not a problem here, making it safe for you to farm XP and resources.

You should only build a small base here, as you will leave this area very soon into the mid-game.

Table of the Gods

One of the best places to build a base is the Table of the Gods in Dune Awakening. It is one of the few sky-base locations that provides an overview of The Sheol and the O’odham region. These two locations will be frequently visited for Jasmium and Aluminum. However, one of the downsides of creating a base here is the supply management. Being located close to the end of the map, and high up, is a big issue for those who do not have ornithopters ready.

This base will be considerably more expensive to build than the rest of the locations.

The Pillars-Eastern Shield Wall

The Pillars in the Eastern Shield Wall is a location full of resources for the late game. This location has a very high number of late-game bases, due to it being in the center of two important farming spots in the late game. The pillars are aptly named, due to its high-rise platforms where you can build bases and create farming routes with your ornithopter efficiently.

The Pillars are mainly known for its Carbon, Erythrite, Calibrated Servoks and Aluminum veins which makes it one of the best final bases of Dune Awakening.
