The latest Monster Hunter Wilds TU2 has brought in a significant amount of content, most notable being two new monsters. Lagiacrus and Seregios both join the MH Wilds roster, and you will need to complete some specific missions before unlocking them as hunts. To unlock Seregios, you will have to complete the Clear With A Chance of Sandstorm quest, which originates in the Kunafa Village region of Windward Plains.

Kunafa Plains does not have a Pop-up camp, and the easiest way to reach it is from your Base Camp in Windward Plains. In this guide, we will explain how you can complete the Clear With A Chance of Sandstorm quest in Monster Hunter Wilds and unlock Seregios hunts.

Monster Hunter Wilds: How To Unlock Seregios Quest (Clear With A Chance of Sandstorm)

Here are the steps to complete the Clear With a Chance of Sandstorm quest in Monster Hunter Wilds to unlock Seregios:

  • Head to Kunafa Village and talk to Neby.
  • Glide down on your Seikret to reach Seregios.
  • Defeat Seregios.

Here is a detailed explanation of this quest:

Talk to Neby in Kunafa Village

To start the Clear with a Chance of Sandstorm quest in Monster Hunter Wilds and unlock Seregios, you need to talk to Neby. You will find this child NPC in the Kunafa Village region of Windward Plains. Head to this village to find a very shy and troubled Neby asking for your help. She will tell you that Nemmo and Vuno, two other children, have gone to take the Seikret trials alone while an unknown monster haunts the areas.

Alma and the Hunter recognize the threat, and immediately rush to their location. A cutscene will automatically take you to the kids’ location, where Nona has also arrived to stop them. As you tell them to head back, Seregios swoops in and grabs Nemmo and Vuno’s Seikret.

Nona chases after Seregios to get the Seikret back, with the Hunter chasing behind her. This is the shortest section of the Clear with a Chance of Sandstorm quest in Monster Hunter Wilds. Simply mount your Seikret and keep gliding to follow Nona and the Seregios. After a short while, Seregios will head downwards, with Nona chasing it once again. Land on the ledge overlooking them, and another cutscene will ensue.

Nona will successfully distract Seregios and prevent it from killing the Seikret. However, she is now in trouble, and the Hunter steps in to distract Seregios again. After Nona takes the other Seikret away, your fight with Seregios begins.

Defeat Seregios

Seregios is an interesting fight in Monster Hunter Wilds. Although it is a flying monster, its flying and attacking patterns are very similar to that of Rey Dau. It will glide up for a lot of its combos, but will mostly be a grounded monster. Unlike the Trembling Blue Currents quest where you have to catch Lagiacrus, you will have to slay Seregios in this quest.

Once completed, you will be automatically taken to Kunafa Village again, where another short cutscene will start. This marks the end of the Clear With a Chance of Sandstorm quest in Monster Hunter Wilds and unlocks Seregios as a regular monster.
