You can unlock the Combat Power Gloves by establishing a 2-star connection with the F2 South Distribution Center, located near the Northern Environmental Observatory and Animal Shelter. Upon reaching a level 2 connection, Samson Hook (Ma Dong-seok) provides the gear data for Combat Power Gloves Level 1 and explains its specialty. Once you have unlocked the data, you can fabricate Combat Power Gloves at any facility using the following materials:
- 30x Resins
- 60x Metals
- 10x Chemicals
As you complete more deliveries for Samson Hook at the F2 South Distribution Center, you will establish a 3-star connection with the base. It unlocks Combat Power Gloves Level 2, an upgraded version of the base model with improved performance.

How To Use Combat Power Gloves in Death Stranding 2
If you prefer melee-focused combat, then the Combat Power Gloves are your go-to choice. They power up your strikes to a great extent, making Sam unmatched in hand-to-hand combat. The gloves allow you to electrocute enemies with charged attacks. The Combat Power Gloves can be highly effective against mechs.
You can also perform a special takedown, called Breakdown, by sneaking up behind enemies and delivering a powerful electric shock. Additionally, the gloves enhance Sam’s defense while blocking, as well as his climbing ability. However, note that the Combat Power Gloves require battery power to function. The Level 2 model significantly increases battery performance and durability.
