How To Find Commander Honglan in Wuchang Fallen Feathers

To find this boss, you must go to the top of the Tang Palace. Talk to an NPC there, and then find a Buddha statue. This statue will help you drain the water from the reservoir. After draining the water, you will be able to see a chisel. Walk down to the chisel to reach a new location called Lotus Pond. You will encounter Commander Honglan in that area.

Commander Honglan is the fifth main boss in the game. She uses slash and stab-type attacks to inflict damage. To beat her, you need to learn her attack pattern to initiate shimmer (perfect dodge) and build up skyborn might. Additionally, a good longsword can help you defeat her.

• Just like every other sword user, Honglan likes to stab a lot. Dodging sideways is the best way to deal with these attacks. Use the same technique while dodging her punches to build skyborn might.
• Her first stage can be completed by successfully dodging attacks and trying to get behind her to deal a heavy attack.
• However, things change when she reaches 50% health, as that’s when her second stage begins.
• During her second stage, she switches to dual blades and also sends wind slashes toward you.
• Parry all the lunge attacks, and dodge wind slashes and other attacks to stay alive.
• We recommend not staying too close to her during either phase. Keep a safe distance, wait for her to come close, and then initiate your moves.
• You can use the Echo of Lu Bingzhang spell to trigger Alacrity.
