Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was all about puzzle-solving, and the DLC is no exception. The Order of the Giants expansion wastes no time in throwing puzzles at you, and the Collegial Mystery with the safe code might just be your first roadblock.
The Collegial Mystery puzzle in the Order of the Giants DLC occurs at Casina Pio IV, where you have to find a safe code to unlock the safe and solve the mystery. There are clues to solving the puzzle, but they’re well hidden, and you’re left to your own devices to find them. The solution is simpler than it may seem, and we’re here to help.

How To Start the Collegial Mystery Puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

You begin the Collegial Mystery puzzle at the very beginning of the Order of the Giants DLC in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. As Indy, you visit the Casina Pia, which then eventually leads you to the underground tunnels of Rome.
But we won’t do that just yet. Instead, go to the upper floor of this building and take a right till you enter a room with a safe. Head to the desk on the western end of the room, and you’ll find a letter. Interact with this letter to begin the Collegial Mystery.
How To Solve the Collegial Mystery and Acquire the Safe Code
The clue to solving the Collegial Mystery and acquiring the safe code lies underneath a chair on the western end of the room. Acquire this note and you’ll get the following information:
- Consider the number of Apostles when our Lord washed their feet.
- Reflect upon the multitude of Cherubim bearing witness to the Nativity of our Savior.
- Count the number of beasts present in celebration as the prodigal son returns to his father’s embrace.
If you notice, all of these sentences are referring to numbers in some way. Furthermore, these sentences are also inviting you to look at the paintings in the room. As you look at the paintings, you’ll notice that there are 12 Apostles, 2 Cherubim, and 2 Beasts. This means the safe code is 1222. Unlocking the safe will then net you two documents and the Hard Crust combat adventure book.
