The Alchemist’s Assistant Wish gives you a good Tool after completion in Hollow Knight: Silksong, but it can prove quite difficult to do so.
There are many Wishes you can complete in Hollow Knight: Silksong, one of which is the Alchemist’s Assistant. You will need to fulfill two requirements to access this Wish. You will need to progress until a certain point in the game, until you get the Cling Grip Ancestral Art.
The second requirement will be elaborated further in this article.
How To Start the Alchemist’s Assistant Wish in Hollow Knight Silksong
Apart from the Cling Grip, you also need access to Wormways. This can be gained in two ways:
- Either by using the Simple Key through the Bone Bottom/Marrow entrance to the Wormways
- Or go to Shellwood and gain access to Wormways naturally, where you can use the Simple Key to unlock the path to this Wish.
Either way, once you are at the Wormways, follow the path shown in the image above to reach the Alchemist Zylotol. You might have to talk to the NPC twice in order to receive the Wish.
How To Complete the Alchemist’s Assistant Wish in Hollow Knight Silksong
You will gain a new Needle Phial Tool, which you can equip at the nearby Bench. You will need to use this Tool to acquire the materials required for this Wish. This Wish will take you to three locations within this area to find the Plasmium you need.
- For the first one, drop down and go left. Climb up, left, and drop down again to reach the marker as shown above.
- The second one will have you backtrack where you came, and fall down a series of gaps while going right.
- For the final one, climb back up two of the drops you made, and keep going left. Run and jump through all the worms and gaps on the way. At the end, you will have to fall down, but do so carefully, as there are spikes underneath. Glide to the right using the Drifter’s Cloak and claim the final Plasmium.
If your last Bench was the one next to the Alchemist, simply Save and Quit to return to the Bench, or just make your way back manually. Talk to Zylotol, and the Wish will be completed. You will get the Plasmium Phial Tool after completing this Wish. That was everything to know regarding the Alchemist’s Assistant Wish in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
