Hades 2 – Best Settings for Entire RTX 50 Series Lineup
Thanks to the exceptional optimization of Hades 2, your frame rate with these settings below will be extremely high at any resolution, including 4K. For this reason, we recommend enabling V-Sync to lock your frame rate to your monitor’s refresh rate. High-end GPUs, such as the RTX 5070 and above, consume a lot of power at an uncapped frame rate while playing Hades 2. By locking your frame rate, you prevent the GPU from rendering extra frames. This helps you eliminate frames produced at a rate exceeding your monitor’s refresh rate. As a result, the GPU’s workload is cut off, lowering power consumption, heat, and fan noise.
Those with a G-Sync or FreeSync monitor have a better alternative. Cap your frame rate slightly below your monitor’s maximum refresh rate. This will allow variable refresh rate technology to work in conjunction with power savings.
