Fate Fabric in Hades 2 is a resource that is usually used in Cauldrons for incantations and crafting equipment. It’s a resource that is present till the end of the game, and there are a few ways you can maximize its collection. This guide mentions where you’ll find Fate Fabric and a few ways to farm it in the shortest time possible.
How To Get Fate Fabric in Hades 2
Fate Fabric can be bought in the Wretched Broker’s shop and obtained from Arachne. Its usage mainly varies from changing boon mechanics to improving healing and even crafting a fishing rod later. It’s mentioned as a reagent for incantations involving chance and fortune in-game.
The Fated List of Minor Prophecies provides a lot of Fate Fabric, as well as completing certain requirements and encountering some Gods and characters in the game. These are the quests that will provide you some Fate Fabric:
- Witch of the Crossroads: Provides 1 Fate Fabric.
- Weaver of Fineries: Provides 3 Fate Fabric.
- Shadow of Death: Provides 5 Fate Fabric.
Visiting Arachne and interacting with her also provides a few Fate Fabric during her encounters. She gives you a special dress that provides Fate Fabric when worn. The Wretched Broker is perhaps the most consistent way to get Fate Fabric in the rogue-like. You can unlock it by using the Summoning of Mercantile Fortune incantation in the Cauldron. Then, the Wretched Broker turns up at the Crossroads.
Charon’s shop also has a Fate Fabric option later on with Obol Points. However, these points are only acquired after you purchase a certain amount of gold’s worth in Charon’s Shop (1000.) But, this option will take a fair bit of time to complete, as the order will only be delivered after you clear certain conditions.
What Is Fate Fabric Used For?
Fate Fabric is used for the following incantations:
- Doomed Beckoning: 3x Fate Fabric. Incants for Moros to reappear, in accordance with the will of the three fates.
- Consecration of Ashes: 6x Fate Fabric. Lets you upgrade your Arcana Cards.
- Propensity towards Gold: 1x Fate Fabric. Unlocks Golden Urns during your runs, which give up to 15 crowns when shattered.
- Empath’s Intuition: 1x Fate Fabric. Provides more details on your relation levels with various Gods and characters in the game.
- Shadow Extraction: 3x Fate Fabric. Provides +1 Shadow.
- Rush of Fresh Air: 3x Fate Fabric. Higher chance of a Hermes shrine on surface locations during runs.
- Surge of Fresh Air: 2x Fate Fabric. A shrine of Hermes appears in the space between surface locations.
- Abyssal Insight: 2x Fate Fabric. Unlocks trials in the training grounds that provide Star Dust on success.
Fate Fabric is also used for crafting the rod of fishing as well equipment in the Silver Pool.
