Here’s a walkthrough for A Feather From Skarmory side quest in Pokemon Legends Z-A, and what rewards you can get upon completion.
A Feather From Skarmory is one of the side quests you unlock after reaching the post-game of Pokemon Legends Z-A. The quest tasks you with collecting a specific feather from a Pokemon. You can complete this mission stealthily. However, if you want to be thorough, you can also battle every Pokemon you encounter for good measure. At the end of the mission, you will have to prepare to battle a wild Skarmory.
With that said, here is a walkthrough for Tyrantrum’s Furious Jaws! side quest in Pokemon Legends Z-A.
How To Complete A Feather From Skarmory Quest in Pokemon Legends Z-A
Before anything else, you first need to complete The Future of Lumiose City main mission. Once that’s done, head to Vert Sector 7 and interact with Couper. He wants you to collect a feather from a Skarmory so he can use it as a gift.
Head to Wild Zone 17
Your target Skarmory is in Wild Zone 17. You can reach this area via fast travel. Once there, make your way northwest to a rooftop where you can find the Alpha Mawile. Find a ladder you can use to climb up to the rooftop.
Avoid Being Spotted by Pokemon
Be careful when exploring the area, as there will be wild Pokemon roaming around. If you get spotted, it is recommended that you battle them before heading up to the rooftop. This is because there will also be a battle once you find the feather. It is best to minimize hostilities before your final battle.
The Skarmory Feather will be marked by a red glow on the floor of the rooftop. Pick it up, and a wild Skarmory will appear.
Defeat Wild Skarmory
The wild Skarmory is weak to Fire– and Electric-type moves. Be careful not to use Poison– or Ground-type moves, as it is immune to those. This will be a quick battle if no other enemies are around the area. However, keep in mind that this Pokemon cannot be caught. All you can do is defeat it in battle.
Once you defeat the wild Skarmory, head back to Couper and claim your rewards.
A Feather From Skarmory Side Quest Rewards
Completing this quest will reward you with coins and the following items:
- 3,500 Pokedollars
- 1x Metal Coat
- 3x Babiri Berry
The Metal Coat is a held item that evolves Steelix and Scizor. You need to have these two Pokemon hold the item for the evolution to activate. A Babiri Berry is another held item that reduces the damage your Pokemon takes from super-effective Steel-type moves.
