Players will get two opportunities to bring down the Brutal Pokemon, with the first one starting appearing at black Tera Raid crystals from Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. PST to Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 3:59 p.m. PST. These are the best Pokemon to defeat this Hydreigon in a Tera Raid:

1) Magearna
Here is the build for Magearna:
- Regular Typing: Steel/Fairy
- Tera Type: Stellar/Steel
- Ability: Soul Heart
- Held Item: Leftovers
- Nature: Modest (+SpA, -Atk)
- EV Spread: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpD
- IVs: Hyper Trained
- Moveset: Iron Defense, Shift Gear, Calm Mind, Stored Power
Magearna is immune to Hydreigon’s Poison-type STAB Tera Blast, giving it longevity. Additionally, its bulk allows it to set it up with three different boosting moves in Iron Defense, Shift Gear, and Calm Mind. Once it accumulates enough boosts, it can start spamming Stored Power against Hydreigon.
