This Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 guide will go over how to craft the Plague Mask, and will also help you find the ingredients necessary.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s latest Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC is out, and you’ll be doing tons of stuff in this new journey, including making a Plague Mask. As you go about playing through this quest, you’ll learn of a plague that’s tearing through the Sedletz Monastery.
The plague has hit a lot of citizens in the area, and the only way to protect yourself is to acquire a Plague Mask. The DLC’s quest “Prevention” sets you out on the path to making this Plague Mask, and if you’re having any trouble with that, we’re here to help.

How To Make the Plague Mask in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
Finding the Ingredients
Before you can make a Plague Mask in the Prevention quest of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- Aromatic Oil (Essential Oil): To unlock the recipe, enter the library and read the book on the lectern in the southwest corner of the building. You can then brew this oil at the alchemy station near Joachim’s hut. You’ll need 3x Chamomile, 1x Sage, and 1x Valerian to brew the oil.
- Mint: You’ll find the Mint in Joachim’s garden.
- Sage: You’ll find the Sage in the Woodland Garden on the eastern end of the map.
- Leather: You’ll find Leather in a shed on the northern end of the map. You can also find this at the construction site southwest of the monastery.
- Flax Rope: You’ll find this in the construction site southwest of the monastery.
While finding these items is fairly easy, Sedletz Monastery is now under quarantine, and all citizens have been locked indoors. You can’t just venture about easily, and this makes acquiring these ingredients a difficult task. Use stealth to sneak around the guards and acquire the ingredients.

Making the Mask
Once you brew the oil and have all the ingredients you need, your objective will then update to “make the plague outfit”. You then have to craft the mask, but the game doesn’t tell you how. To make the mask, you have to head to the table near the alchemy station in the infirmary. The table is opposite the station. Walk up to it, and you’ll get a prompt to make the mask. This will then fade the screen to black, and you’ll have your Plague Mask.
