Dragon Age: The Veilguard is filled to the brim with chests and treasures to find. These chests contain weapons, armor, amulets, and other powerful gear. The Necropolis Halls have 17 such chests for you to find. This may seem intimidating as the Halls themselves seem like a maze, and quite a few of these chests are locked behind puzzles, quests, or simple exploration.

In this guide, we shall go over all the Necropolis Hall chest puzzles in Dragon Age: The Veilguard and how to solve them.

All Necropolis Halls Chests

Chest	Location
#1	Found during the Restless Spirits quest. Gather the four wisps in Hollow Belfry to open the gate and obtain the puzzle.
#2	Hidden in the east recess in the Chamber of the Unforged.
#3 and #4	The chest in the Vault of the Beloved is locked, and you have to light six candles to open it. The first two candles are at the start of the hallway, opposite each other. The next two are at the center. The last two are at the end of the hallway. Light the candles and return to the chest.
#5	Interact with the Wisp at the center of the Cascades. Next, lead the Wisp south and take the first right to a locked gate with a chest behind it. The Wisp will interact with the activator and unlock the gate for you.
#6	Take the first right at the start of the Vault of the Beloved. Climb the platform ahead and pass through the door to find the chest.
#7	Talk to Emmerich in the Lighthouse to obtain the Walking the Graves quest. This will take you to The Memorial Gardens. Ring the five bells in the garden to unlock the chest. The bells emit a hue of light and are difficult to miss.
#8	The chest lies to the south of chest #7. Enter the door next to the tree to find a hidden room with the chest in it.
#9	The chest is in the Spectral Court. You have to light up the two big bonfires on the staircase court to access it. Light up the bonfire on the right side next to the pillar. A Wisp will then spawn and lead you to another bonfire. Use ignite to light that bonfire, too. Another Wisp will then spawn and direct you to light up the bonfire on the staircase.After this, a Wisp will point towards the bonfire next to the coffin, so light it up. Follow the Wisp to the next bonfire on the left and light it up. Light the bonfire on the staircase to solve the puzzle. A Wisp will then spawn and take you to the chest.
#10	Hidden in the southernmost end of the Cascades. Use Eternal Hymn on the Resonant Slab to summon a platform and parkour past the gaps till you reach a ladder. Interact with the Veil Instability ahead of you to summon more platforms in the form of skulls. Parkour ahead to reach the chest.
#11	The final chest is at the northernmost end of the Lost Watcher’s Ring. Complete the Hauntings: Restless Dream, Hauntings: From Beyond, and Hauntings: Shadow of Fortune quests to access the area.
#12	From the giant skull in the Path of Sighs, head west. Follow the path straight to reach the chest.
#13, #14, #15, #16	Found in the arena of the Formless One during the Pinnacle of its Kind quest.
#17	The chest in the Vault of the Beloved is locked, and you have to light six candles to open it. The first two candles are at the start of the hallway, opposite each other. The next two are at the center. The last two are the ends of the hallway. Light the candles and return to the chest.
