All Warrior specializations in Dragon Age: The Veilguard bring something different to the table. This makes all of them unique in their own way. For exactly this reason, there is no direct comparison between them. However, we are going to rank them based on how useful they can be.

As a Warrior, the exploit point for an enemy would be your brute force. The strength that this class carries is unmatched by the other two. Hence, their specializations are suited as such. Each class is given three specializations, and players get to invest in one of them.

If you are a Warrior, your specializations will be Reaper, Champion, and Slayer, in a ranked order. We are going to explain why we chose this list and let you decide whether you agree or not later on.

The list will start with the specialization that we consider the best for the Warrior class and end with the one that we didn’t find useful altogether. Kindly note that moving forward will subject you to the writer’s opinions and the list is not objective in any way.

Ranking All Warrior Specializations

1. Reaper

Out of all the specializations in this brute class, Reaper is the one that lets you be an absolute tank. No. It doesn’t boost your endurance but gives you an alternate way of resupplying your HP whenever you are feeling ‘low’ in a battle.

Apart from the regular way of healing in the game, Rook can now steal health from their enemies. This specialization applies Lifesteal to enemies mid-combat, which can let you regen quicker and power through encounters easily. It also puts less pressure on your party members since they wouldn’t have to use support skills as much anymore. The focus here is also on Necrosis, which can prove very useful in dealing with enemies who appear stronger than you.

2. Champion

Focus more on using your main-handed weapon alongside your shield with this specialization. One of the roles that a champion plays is buffing up their party members. There is a slight lack of DPS, but damage from both shield and main-hand weapon can cover for it. The endurance is reliable if your specialization is that of a Champion.

The skills here are focused on Fire damage that can help you against single or hordes of enemies. Feel free to experiment with this sub-class and find out whether it works for you and your party members.

3. Slayer

Slayer comes last among all Warrior specializations. We don’t disrespect this subclass. In fact, it’s useful in its own way. Primarily, your focus will be on using two-handed weapons. Apart from that, you will also be debuffing enemies and exploiting them as per your own advantage.

The focus here remains on stacking Stagger damage on your foes. This will allow you to build them up for a takedown, which can prove devastating based on certain factors. There is a certain lack of ranged attacks that you may feel, but overall, it has an easy and straightforward gameplay.

As we previously mentioned, this list is mainly dependent on how we experienced the game. However, if you find even a Slayer specialization to be more enjoyable, then that’s what’s best for your Rook.
