Dune Awakening is finally out in early access on Steam for PC. The video game adaptation of Dune is an open-world MMORPG set in a universe where Paul Atreides was never born. Players have to survive the harsh wasteland and battle other players to rule the desert. The full launch for the MMORPG is set for June 10, with players already dropping in through early access.
As you’ll have to battle formidable players and other deadly creatures in the wasteland, you’ll need healing. That’s where a key item known as Plant Fiber comes in. This consumable is really important for surviving the early stages of the game. If you don’t yet know how or where to find Plant Fiber in the game, you’re in the right place. This guide will explain where to find it and how to farm it with ease.
Where To Find Plant Fiber Dune Awakening?
Plant Fiber can be found in early-game rocky areas. It doesn’t seem to grow on sand or directly on rock. The bushes that contain Plant Fiber are usually located on the edges of large rock formations. Basically, if foliage or dirt makes up the ground below, you can find Plant Fiber bushes there.
If you can’t tell whether the foliage is just part of the environment, get close to it to check. If there’s a Plant Fiber bush nearby, you’ll see a prompt in your UI to harvest it. So, go ahead and collect it.
How To Farm Plant Fiber in Dune Awakening
The best part about farming items in the game is that they respawn quickly. During our playthrough, we collected Plant Fiber from one spot, and it respawned in about 30 seconds. We kept harvesting it every 30 seconds and collected a large amount of Plant Fiber for healing.
The best and only strategy to farm large amounts of Plant Fiber is to find a group of bushes and stay near them. It may sound boring, but it’s incredibly easy, so there’s no excuse not to do it. If your base is near a bunch of bushes, it will be even easier to farm Plant Fiber.
