Assetto Corsa Evo is the third installment in the series. Here’s all we know about it so far to keep you hyped for the upcoming project.
Assetto Corsa, the much-loved racing game franchise, is back again with even more realistic cars and graphics. This time around, the game is called Assetto Corsa Evo and has been publicly announced.
If you don’t know about it yet, don’t worry because you are not missing out on anything. The game was only recently announced and hasn’t even been released yet. We are here to update you on everything we know so far about it.
As of now, the game’s full release date is unavailable. However, it is set to come out in Early Access in the new year, 2025. The official Steam page for the game suggests that the planned initial release is on January 16, 2025. This may be postponed if things do not go according to plan.
The developers haven’t publicly denied other platforms, so it appears that early access will remain restricted to PCs. When this testing period has ended, it will hopefully be ready to come out on new-generation consoles: Xbox Series and PS5.

So far, the in-game screenshots suggest that there will be multiple race tracks to choose from. Despite that, it looks like the game may introduce a dynamic weather system of sorts. This can bring variety to existing tracks if executed correctly.
The cars also look realistic, giving credit to real-life companies like Audi and Mercedes. So, this game can be a one-stop destination for both car enthusiasts and racing game lovers.
This is the third installment that comes after Assetto Corsa (2014) and Assetto Corsa Competizione (2019). No announcements have been made regarding couch party play, but LAN multiplayer and online play will both be available. This will allow you and your friends to confirm who the real speed demon is.
We don’t have much information about customizations and modifications for the cars in the game. And since the game is a new one, it wouldn’t be wise to expect the same system to return. The developers might tweak some mechanics for a fresher feel.
