How To Get the Iron Flask in Baldur’s Gate 3?
You find the Iron Flask as part of the “Find the Missing Shipment” quest in Baldur’s Gate 3. You begin this quest by speaking to Zarys in the Zhentarim hideout. Zarys will request you to find a missing shipment and bring it back to her. Follow the road along the north of the Blighted Village, and you will reach a cave. Enter this cave to find the missing shipment. Now, while you can return this shipment, defying the request and opening it instead will reveal a “Glowing Iron Flask” inside. Pick this item up to get the Iron Flask.

What To Do With the Iron Flask in Baldur’s Gate 3?
As you interact with the Iron Flask, you’ll notice that unopened, it is worth 480 Gold. While valuable, the more entertaining option is to simply inspect the flask and select the “Remove the stopper” option. Removing the stopper and opening the Iron Flask will release a Spectator that you need to kill. Doing so will grant you 150 XP.
Alternatively, you can save this flask for later and open it elsewhere. This will release the Spectator upon unsuspecting enemies and give you the upper hand in battle. The game will take note of this, however, and will present consequences for your choice later on. We recommend saving the Iron Flask for later, as it is the most fun of all the options.
