The Battlefield 6 beta features a limited number of weapons you can use. However, each class does have its own signature weapons. This means there are enough weapons to cater to all the available classes in the game. With that said, some weapons do excel above other options. They can be broken due to their versatility or simply so overpowered that they might receive a nerf soon.

With that said, here is a tier list for Battlefield 6, ranking all weapons from the best to the least viable during the beta phase.

All Weapons Tier List for Battlefield 6

All weapons in Battlefield 6 are viable depending on your preferred playstyle. However, some firearms are more of an all-rounder or more lethal than the rest.

Below is more information about the weapons on the higher tiers.

M87A1

At the time of writing, the M87A1 is one of the most broken weapons in Battlefield 6 beta due to its unmatched firepower. It’s part of the Assault Class loadout and is the only shotgun in the game, for now. What makes it lethal is that it can instantly take down enemies with just one shot. If most of the pellets hit your target, they are most likely to drop dead. This is why you mostly aim for the chest instead of the head, which is much harder to hit. It wouldn’t be a surprise if the M87A1 shotgun gets nerfed on the final release of Battlefield 6.

M2010 ESR

Just like M87A1, the M2010 ESR is the only sniper rifle in Battlefield 6 beta, so far. This is why it’s on top of the tier, as this weapon is the only one that is efficient in taking down targets from a long distance. With that said, it will probably drop in value once more snipers are added to the game. But for now, it’s your go-to weapon for long-range shooting that can also one-shot targets.

NVO-228E

The NVO-228E Assault Rifle is a well-balanced weapon in Battlefield 6. It has a slower rate of fire compared to other AR weapons in the game. However, it makes up for it with better firepower and control. This means you are less likely to miss your shots in mid-ranged encounters. It’s a good weapon to have if your enemy is not in range for your M87A1 shotgun.

M4A1

If you’re looking for a weapon with superior handling in close-quarters combat, the M4A1 stands out as a reliable choice. Its lightweight frame and fast aim-down-sights speed make it ideal for short-range shootouts, especially in tight corridors or when clearing buildings. The M4A1 shines when fired in controlled bursts, offering precision and stability that can quickly take down enemies at close range. However, its biggest drawback comes into play when you hold down the trigger for too long. The recoil becomes increasingly difficult to manage, causing your shots to stray off target.

PW7A2

If your playstyle leans toward aggressive rushes and overwhelming firepower, the PW7A2 is the go-to weapon in Battlefield 6. It’s good for a spray-and-pray tactic, allowing you to overwhelm your enemy with sheer bullet volume. While it’s built for short-range dominance, the PW7A2 also offers surprising versatility when equipped with the right attachments. Also, it’s the signature weapon for the Engineer class in the game.

L110

When you want to take down armored vehicles and aircraft, you need a heavier weapon for the job. This is where the L110 steps in. It’s a light machine gun that’s also the signature weapon for the Support class.

M39 EMR

The M39 EMR is a weapon that is the best of two worlds. As a DMR weapon, it has a good mix of being a carbine and a sniper rifle. It’s not as much of a heavy hitter, but it’s versatile with a decent rate of fire and control. However, you can’t fully rely on this weapon for long-range targets. You are better off using a sniper rifle if you want something that can kill targets with one shot.
