Picking the best team in Marvel Rivals can determine whether you win a game or lose it. While Quick Play mode may not matter to a lot of people, things get serious in Competitive. Those who prefer a strategic playstyle in their matches can opt for a 3-support team composition. By “support” here, we mean “Strategists.” If you haven’t been paying attention, you should know that having triple support on your team can positively affect your chances of winning. But what team compositions will work well in such a scenario? We have a few picks for you.

Best 5-Support Meta Teams in Marvel Rivals

In all scenarios, it is important to pay attention to your Strategists to ensure that the meta is being successfully executed. So, make sure not to leave your backline unprotected. The following team comps can handle the pressure from the enemy team or keep the enemies under pressure, depending on what the situation demands:

1. The Undead

  • Doctor Strange, Wolverine, Star-Lord, Mantis, Adam Warlock, Rocket Raccoon

This team composition is solely focused on survivability. So, if the enemy team is aggressive, you would benefit from having a team that is more resilient and can also come back into the game without having to walk all the way from spawn. Adam Warlock has his cocoon revival ability. His presence on the team allows Star-Lord and Mantis to have this ability as well.

Rocket, on the other hand, can drop his B.R.B. beacon in a safe spot to revive anybody who dies, regardless of this passivity. If not, Doctor Strange can use it to revive automatically because he will absorb most of the damage as the only anchor tank on the team. Moreover, Wolverine will also be pretty useful because of his passive health regeneration at the verge of KO.

2. Ragnarok Rebirth

  • Thor, Hela, Moon Knight, Loki, Cloak & Dagger, Invisible Woman

If you have any Thor, Hela, or Loki mains on your team (or all of them, if you’re lucky), picking this team composition can help you win several games. The essence of this comp is pretty aggressive. Thor will be the solo tank, holding aggro on the front line. Even though he can dive into the enemy backline, that’s not what we will use him for.

While he holds aggro at the front, Hela can help take down enemies at mid-range. Loki can switch between being a nuisance to the enemy team and healing his allies. Their team-up allows Hela to grant her brothers bonus health if they are alive or even revive them if they are waiting for a respawn! Apart from them, Cloak & Dagger can continue healing and providing Moon Knight with a useful team-up ability. Both Cloak & Dagger and Invisible Woman have point-holding Ultimate Abilities.

3. Anti-Divers

  • Peni Parker, Iron Fist, Namor, Luna Snow, Mantis, Invisible Woman

At times, enemies bring a team composition that is focused on diving your backline. If the enemy divers are effective and know how to play, you will find it difficult to deal with them because your supports keep dying at the back. This composition is defensive, allowing you to defend a stable point easily. Starting with Peni Parker, her Bionic Spider Nest and Arachno-Mines can be a headache for the enemy divers. Namor, as we know him, is the worst nightmare of each diver with his Monstro Spawn.

The three Strategists here, Luna Snow, Mantis, and Invisible Woman, also have CC (Crowd Control) abilities to Freeze, Sleep, and Slow enemy divers, respectively. While Luna Snow activates Chilling Charisma for Namor, Iron Fist will also give his Frozen Chi to Luna Snow, making her even more effective against divers.

4. The Abductors

Invisible Woman Marvel Rivals

  • Groot, Hulk, Winter Soldier, Invisible Woman, Jeff the Land Shark, and Cloak & Dagger

As the name suggests, this team composition is focused on stunning and executing individual enemies by isolating them from their team. Invisible Woman and Winter Soldier both have abilities that can pull in enemies. This will be the primary essence of this team composition. Once an enemy has been isolated, Groot can build an iron wall to quickly eliminate the enemy and cut off their healing.

This can even work on multiple enemies, depending on how many have been reeled in. Cloak & Dagger can blind the reeled-in enemies using Terror Cape. What about Jeff? Well, he is there to provide healing support and bait enemies into following him using his deep-dive swimming.

5. Defend the VIP

  • Doctor Strange, The Punisher, Winter Soldier, Rocket Raccoon, Mantis, Luna Snow

This team composition is centered around one primary damage dealer and is very useful in attacking situations where you need to be aggressive—for example, pushing a payload. Here, the “VIP” we will be defending is The Punisher. His turret ability returns to him every few seconds, whether it is destroyed, has run out of bullets, or has been canceled.

Either way, it will be recharged in no time. While it is charging, Rocket Raccoon can drop his team-up to provide infinite bullets to Frank Castle and Winter Soldier. Doctor Strange can raise his shield to defend The Punisher from any unsuspecting threats. Mantis will grant him a damage boost to ensure there is no slack in the damage output. Luna Snow will provide additional healing alongside Mantis and assist with her Ultimate.
