Learn about the Tipping Point Order Bunker in Borderlands 4, how to solve its puzzles, and its Legendary loot.
Order Bunkers in Borderlands 4 are side dungeons that players can explore for Legendary loot. You unlock Order Bunkers after completing the fourth main story mission, ‘One Swell Swoop.’ The Tipping Point Order Bunker is one of the earliest ones you can encounter.
However, the bunker is blocked by a seal and has several puzzles to complete before reaching its final chamber for the Mimicron boss fight. Once you beat Mimicron, you have a chance of receiving Legendary loot such as the Complex Root Sniper Rifle and Madlad Submachine Gun, which makes Tipping Point more than worth clearing.
How To Enter the Tipping Point Order Bunker in Borderlands 4
The Tipping Point Order Bunker is located in the Idolator’s Noose region in the southeastern part of the map. The bunker’s entrance is blocked by a barrier that you need to melt through using a Power Core.
You can find the Power Core inside the building with a large fan in front of it, directly south of the bunker entrance. Head into the building, take a right, and climb the platform to reach a machine holding the Power Core.
Use the grappling hook to grab the Power Core, drop down the hole in the floor, and throw it at the Tipping Point bunker entrance. The seal will melt away, allowing you to enter the Order Bunker.
You have around 10 seconds before the Power Core explodes in your hand, so lob it quickly. If it does explode, you can enter the building again and get another one from the same machine.

Borderlands 4: Tipping Point Order Bunker Puzzles
Enter the Tipping Point bunker, turn left, and head through the first doorway on the right. There are Order enemies in the chamber up ahead, but it is not required to kill any enemies in the bunker to proceed further.
First Canister Puzzle
Head through the large doorway on the opposite (north) side of the chamber to arrive in a room with a shielded door. Look for a canister on the left (west) side of the room, past the inactive conveyor belt. Interact with the canister to carry it and insert it into the console at the room’s center. Press the red button on the left side of the canister slot and head through the now-open doorway.
Second Canister Puzzle
Turn right and enter another room with the same puzzle. Walk up the first inactive conveyor belt on the left to find the canister. Take the canister and insert it into the console located in the left (eastern) corner of the room. Press the red button and head through the doorway on the opposite end of the room.
Jump into the elevator shaft up ahead and climb the wall to the right (west). Look up to the left side and double jump over to the wall there to reach the next room with two vending machines and a checkpoint. If you continue onwards, you will face the Mimicron boss.

Borderlands 4: Tipping Point Mimicron Boss Rewards
Mimicron is a melee-focused boss with a shield and armor health bar vulnerable to Shock and Corrosive Damage, respectively. After you have defeated him, you can fast travel to the boss’s location with the purple orb and respawn Mimicron by spending 30,000 Cash at the Moxxi’s Big Encore machine. Through this method, you can farm him repeatedly for Legendary loot. Here are all the Legendary items he drops:
- Complex Root Sniper Rifle
- Madlad Submachine Gun
- UAV Grenade
